The holiday season is approaching, and a great way to start the celebrations is with cheerful big band jazz. The Space Coast Symphony Jazz Orchestra will present Jingle: The Big Band Holiday Spectacular!, an afternoon of holiday spirit and swinging music. This event is scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025, with a matinee performance beginning at 2:00 PM, making it a suitable outing for families and music enthusiasts.

A Festive Evening of Holiday Big Band Music

This enjoyable concert will be held at the Satellite High School Performing Arts Center, located at 300 Scorpion Court in Satellite Beach. Attendees can anticipate a program featuring both familiar holiday songs and inventive big band arrangements. From classic carols like “Silent Night” and “Jingle Bells” to jazzy renditions such as “Auld Lang Cha Cha Cha” and “Little Drummer Boy Boogie,” the orchestra will present arrangements by respected musicians like Rick Kubis, Gordon Goodwin, and Sammy Nestico, promising an engaging musical experience for everyone.

Featuring the Talented Vocalist Kim Reteguiz

Adding a special touch to this festive event will be the exceptionally skilled vocalist Kim Reteguiz. Recognized for her energetic performances across various styles, including blues, jazz, Latin, and soul, Reteguiz is expected to contribute her distinctive energy and vocal talent to the holiday music. Her background as a semi-finalist in the International Blues Challenge and her collaborations with notable bands underscore her ability to hold an audience’s attention.
